Also this year there are several workshops to join at the Eindhoven Maker Faire. Because we work with time slots of 2 hours in the Klokgebouw, we have moved the longer workshops to Microlab. That way you can visit the Maker Faire relaxed and also participate in great workshops. Microlab is located at an approximately 5 minute walk from the Klokgebouw.
There are three different workshops that you can participate. You pay for the material costs for each workshop. It will take you about 1 / 1.5 hours. Are you also crazy about building? Then these workshops are for you!
Have you always wanted to build your own hovercraft? It’s possible at the Build Your Own Mini Hovercraft workshop. Build a remote-controlled hovercraft from a garbage bag, a motor, a propeller, lots of tape and a WiFi module. You can control the hovercraft with your own smartphone or tablet (iOS and Android).
Thinking of assembling a robot yourself? This is possible at BYOR! Use the different sensors, motors, buzzer and lights from BYOR in combination with craft materials to build a great robot!
At Varikabi you can build a multifunctional sensor-controlled robot. The Varikabi nature-inspired robots react perceptively to their environment and can recognize obstacles, lights, shadows or markings on the floor. Twelve amazing functions are possible. After building you can test your robot on different tracks.
This welding workshop gives you all the tools you need to set up your own welding machine, lay out a weld and the basic techniques that go with it. No experience is needed!
Are you completely enthusiastic about one of these workshops? Then buy your ticket quickly! You can read more about these workshops on the ticket page.
